The Castle Practice

Care very much depends on who you see.
You have to call at 8.30 am on the day for an appointment which is tricky if you work or have other commitments.
However if you see one of the decent doctors you are very well cared for.
Some receptionist experience and friendliness is questionable

My son had a lump on his ear and has done since he was born, was told by one doctor it was a skin infection and another doctor said it was a cyst. I have recently moved out of the area and my new doctors have been nothing but extraordinary and had him sent for an ultrasound and the lump has been diagnosed and he has been referred to a specialist. Both times the doctors at castle practice missed out and misdiagnosed because they refused to see him in person.

It can be challenging to get through but that is just the demand due to the area having more and more residents.
Generally have always been able to get an appointment.
Their flu jab service is great, and I believe from local feedback their Covid19 sending for patients is going well too.
Generally really good Drs.

Horrendous practice. Receptionists with a God complex who make it a nightmare to speak to a GP, then egotistical GP’s who don’t listen properly. Absolutely disgustingly run practice.

Because I had to have lots of scans and a biopy then chemo and then a major operation last December.

This practice has so many patients and now that some of the doctors have retired or work part time it is difficult to see the same doctor twice and to me there isn't the continuity that there used to be.
