UHB Solihull Hospital

I received very little treatment for my cancer from this hospital.

I was only waiting 15 minutes to be seen in the fracture clinic which I was pleased about. The communication from everyone was great and my X-ray was done quickly. I've never had such a good, speedy experience.

The waiting list for my knee surgery is very long and once I arrived for my appointment I was waiting a long time. You never get to see the people you are actually waiting to see either.

I wasn't waiting long for my ultrasound appointment to come through. Everything was sorted quickly once I arrived and they detected that I have lung cancer.

The service I have received from the neuro physio team at Solihull Hospital has been excellent. The team of staff are great. They come down to the main reception with a wheelchair to collect you as it is quite some distance to the department. I have been under the team since my stroke and the sessions will continue for some time. My recovery has been slow but the physio is helping. I am very happy with the care I have received.

I have attended a number of appointments at Solihull Hospital including testing, diagnosis and treatment for lung cancer. It has been caught very early and I cannot fault how quickly I have moved through the system. The care and treatment I have received has been excellent. The only problem I have encountered is parking at Solihull Hospital. Parking is very difficult and I can rarely get a disabled space.

I have to attend the blood test department every two weeks for routine blood tests. I am very happy my experience and all interactions in the department.

When I was referred to the rheumatology department at Solihull Hospital they made contact with me and told me that there would be a 12 month wait to be seen, but I have been seen within 4 months. The communication has been outstanding from the point of referral, keeping me informed about waiting times and booking in my first appointment. I was happy with how well my first consultant appointment went. Again communication has been excellent, they were very clear in their examination, findings and treatment plan going forward.
