UHB Solihull Hospital

I am happy with the care and treatment I received at my physio appointment. They were very thorough and caring during the appointment and I was then sent down to the UTC to be seen by a doctor.

I have had to attend the blood test department at Solihull Hospital on a few occasions recently. The service is very good and I was seen very quickly each time. This is a real improvement to previous visits last year when waiting times were very long, which was not convenient when you have to bring children with you.

I had a number of tests and procedures carried out here on the urgent cancer referral pathway. I was tested and received the results quickly.

My knee surgery went well. I have no problems with the care I received.

I'm happy with how my scan and the care that followed at this hospital went.

I have to go here for regular blood tests. The staff are always nice and they provide a good service.

I come here for outpatient appointments in rheumatology and they provide a good service. My consultant is good and always answers my questions.

My experience of the trauma and fracture clinic at Solihull Hospital has been good, but I have experienced difficulties getting the appointment. An appointment was made when I was first referred over 3 years ago, I had to cancel the appointment and this was not re-scheduled and I had to wait 3 years for an appointment. Things have been moving quickly since my appointment and they did refer me on for surgery at another UHB hospital.

I attended Solihull Hospital for a scan appointment. The service was well run and I was seen on time. It all went very well and I was happy with the service I received.

I received an appointment for Solihull Hospital at 8.30am. It takes me an hour on the bus to get to the hospital and my free bus pass does not work until after 9.30am. Unable to meet the costs of travel and having to set out at 7am in the morning meant that I just could not attend this appointment. It was very difficult to get through to the hospital to cancel and re-schedule the appointment, no one was answering the phone. It was very frustrating. After trying continuously for a number of days I did manage to re-schedule the appointment but the hospital then notified me that the appointment was cancelled. The appointment has not been re-scheduled and this has been going on for a number of months. I am very disappointed with the service I have received.
