They are pretty good. I can generally get an appointment here or at another SHP practice. Today I was able to get an urgent appointment for my baby which is good.

The service provided for children is very good. I never have a problem getting an appointment for my baby when he needs one. The doctors are very good.

The doctors are very good and provide a good service when you can get an appointment. I was astounded recently when I could not get an appointment with SHP, but I contacted NHS 111 who booked me an appointment that day at an SHP surgery. How is this system fit for purpose?!

It is hit and miss trying to get appointments here but they have been very good with my celiac diagnosis.

I am very happy with the doctors once I manage to get an appointment. The service depends on which receptionist is on. One is very helpful and I specifically come in on days when they're in as I know they will be help get me an appointment.

It's very hard to get appointments, even when the surgery request you to book one, which makes little sense. I am often sent to various surgeries and see different doctors all the time. There is no continuity of care.

The doctors are great and I cannot fault them, the problem is getting in to see one. When I am lucky enough to get an appointment quite often I have to travel to other surgeries within the SHP Partnership. This can be frustrating but I just feel grateful to have an appointment. I do think you should be able to book your own surgery easier.

The doctors are great and provide excellent care the problem is getting an appointment. There are a limited number of advance appointments you can book, and getting a same day appointment is very difficult when you want to see a specific doctor. It is really important when you have dementia that you see the same doctor not only because its causes less confusion but because the continuity of care is better. I always request the same doctor and have to wait up to two weeks for an appointment with them. Most recently there was an error and when the confirmation text message came through after speaking on the telephone, the wrong doctor was booked. I had to call again resulting in a three week wait to see the doctor. This could be improved for patients with dementia.

Getting an appointment involves calling at 8am only to go find you are 40th in the queue! We never get to see the same doctor twice. Since the practice joined SHP the service has deteriorated drastically.

I needed a non-urgent appointment and one was booked in within 2 weeks. I am happy with the service I received and it is great to see this service improving.
