Cannot phone for an appointment for my toddler, took 6 days for a call back from an online consultation and I only got a response because I complained on the SHP Facebook page. I’m in the process of escalating the complaint as GP only responded via text and diagnosed eczema without looking at the injury, which was an infected cut and not eczema. I am disgusted that GPs are using Covid as an excuse to not see patients, all other businesses have now returned to normal operations, why are GPs different?
get an appointment oftentimes they do not even answer your calls. They are immensely incompetent at providing repeat prescriptions which causes health issues for their patients. The reception staff are repeatedly rude however the doctors and nurses are good. Their service simply isn’t good enough and has only changed for the worse since using the surgery for the last 19 years.
