Difficult to access services

Getting appointments here can be very difficult. Mental health services and continuous support are also no longer easily accessible and I am not sure what to do.
Avoid at all costs if you ever want to be seen

No compassion or common sense when you call with urgent enquiries. A very tick box approach and a triage system that doesn't work. The only way to actually get onto the triage list is to queue outside before the surgery opens at 8am, as there is no chance of getting through on the phone before the appointments are full.
Good care from the community midwife

My experience with the community midwife here was very good. The only issue is that I am seen by a different midwife each time so there is no personal relationship like I hear others have.
Can’t get an appointment

Waited on the phone for two and a half hours, two days running and still cannot get an appointment after speaking with the receptionist who was very rude.
Horrendous all round service

Nothing positive to say. Service has continued to decline since merging into GPS Healthcare. Impossible to get an appointment, rushed service if you do. No quality of care or ongoing support. Can't communicate or even get repeat prescriptions correct.
Very rude staff

The receptionist is very rude ,very difficult to visit the doctor, The receptionist is the one who decides if you are really sick or not !!!
Never had a problem with the surgery

I have never had a problem with the surgery. If I have trouble booking an appointment I ask for a call back which they always accommodate.
Everything is blamed on viral infections

The surgery is absolute rubbish. It is hard to see a doctor, and when you do they are so scared to diagnose you with anything that everything is put down to a viral infection or the flu.

I find the surgery good. I do not use it very often but when I need an appointment I can normally get one. I rarely see the same doctor, but it is not a problem.
Over a week to arrange a repeat prescription

I had run out of medication and was desperately trying to contact the surgery to arrange an emergency prescription. I spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to get through, without success. The next day I attended the surgery in person. Altogether it took me over a week to get a prescription from the GP. The staff just did not seem to care, the receptionists were terrible and did not seem to understand my predicament, or show any empathy to me. I was very worried about missing my medication and the problems that can arise from doing do. In general the doctors are good when you see them but getting an appointment is extremely difficult as you have to get through the receptionists first.
