The receptionist says I can not bring someone to talk for me as I am a refugee and I can not understand and express myself. Because of this I do not go to see the GP

I have been calling my GP because my nose has been bleeding and I never get through. I have Autism so I don't have time to sit on the call for longer time. I went to the surgery and the receptionist was rude and arrogant, She refused to let me see the doctor and be checked.nI ended up going to A&E.

The GP reception asking too many personal questions before deciding on whether I can see the doctor or not. Sometimes they are rude and arrogant and they make me feel like am nobody or unworthy. The receptionist have no empathy and compassion.

Called the appointment line for an appointment and you are waiting for hours before anybody picks up the phone. This is not acceptable and suitable if you work shifts or have work commitments. In the end I go to the surgery for an appointment. The service is not accessible as it takes me 1 hour each time to and from work. I tried to book an appointment for urine and skin tests but no answer. I was referred from work to have a hearing test after they identified a problem. With no appointment availability, I have had to use Amplifon and have had to get tested privately which I cannot afford with the low income. The prescription service is bad, I have to complete physical prescriptions and I have had no reviews for any of the medications I am on. When I do manage to get appointments to see the doctors they contact you and cancel the appointment when it gets closer to the appointment.

I had been referred to the hospital by the doctor but i was not aware of this as no communication was provided. I only found out that i had been referred by going online.
The doctors are good when you do get an appointment with them although there is still the issue of not being able to get face to face appointments. The appointments are still over the phone.
Since Covid the number of doctors availability has reduced and there are not enough doctors to see or speak to.

Sometimes it is easy to get appointments and they provide a fast service will is brilliant. They need to provide more service like this.
Negative. It takes long time for the GP/Nurse to get back to you about results which you have had done. This adds to the anxiety that there already is.
There needs to be a clearer process on the availability of results from tests and scans

I have used the service and I find it hard to get repeat prescriptions from even the nurse.
Long wait on results after a major scan after being adviced by 111 helpine to speak to GP but still waiting a month in.

Sometimes they give you appointment in a week and sometimes they do not respond to the phone. Very slow in medication prescription
