Hard to get in but good doctors

This service is okay but it can be hard to get in. When you can get in the doctors are good however.

My midwife at Bosworth Medical Centre was wonderful. She remembered me from a previous pregnancy and we built great rapport. She was very thorough, I felt safe and reassured and she was always on hand to answer any questions I had.
Good connected care

I have found the doctors very good, they are really listening to me about my health concerns for myself and the additional needs of my children. I have experienced some problems with repeat prescriptions but this has recently been sorted out, so I am pleased.

It can be hard at times to get an appointment. The difficulty is the phone system, you wait quite some time for the call to be answered to be told appointments have gone and to call back. There has been recent improvement and I have been able to get a face to face appointment when needed.
Access is quite good

The surgery is good, I have not experienced problems getting appointments, either by telephone or in person at the surgery. The receptionists are helpful and the doctors are good.

I find the surgery to be quite good. I can get appointments when I need one. The receptionists, doctors and nurses are all quite nice.

The nurses at Bosworth Medical Centre are fantastic. They go above and beyond to help. They are kind and caring and I have been very satisfied with the care and treatment they have provided.

I see a nurse every three months for injections and I also have appointments to change dressings on my legs. The nurse is great and provides an excellent service. I feel the nurse has time to listen to my concerns, answers any questions I have and communicates well with me.
Don't feel listened to

It is very difficult to get a doctors appointment at Bosworth Medical Centre. I do not feel listened to. After being successfully treated for cancer I had a concern about a lump but my concerns were completely brushed off.
A nightmare getting through on the phone

It's a nightmare to get through on the phone in the mornings. When you call you are at least 20th in the queue and by the time you speak to a receptionist all the appointments are gone and you are told to call back tomorrow, when you go through the same process. At times I have come down to the surgery while holding on the phone and there are no queues and the receptionists on the front desk are not answering the phone. The receptionists are very friendly and do try their best to help you. You see different doctors all the time, its not like it used to be when you built a rapport with your doctor. When you get an appointment the doctor asks you what the problem is, how they can help and then ask you about past medical history. Why do they not look at your medical records on their systems? There is not time for these discussions and I always feel very rushed like they cannot wait to push you out the door.
