Bosworth Medical Centre

It's just so difficult to get through on the phone. I call when the phonelines open and its usual for there to be over 20 people in front of you in the queue. Its just a complete waste of time because you know that you will be told there are no appointments left. I had to collect a prescription last week so asked to book an appointment for my wife. I was told that they could not make the appointment for me and I had to call. I was persistent because she really needed to be seen and they managed to book me a hub appointment on the Saturday. I have called before and been 21st in the queue, whilst on the phone I have come to the reception (phone in hand, on hold), and there's no staff in sight. Not one member of staff in reception, no one answering the phone. They just blame all the changes on covid, this cant keep being used as an excuse.

I was booked here for an appointment with a nurse by my surgery at Chester Road. I have been here before for my covid vaccinations. My experiences here have been very good.

I have no complaints, when I really need to see someone I get an appointment. I find the staff friendly.

I can not fault the service. I can always get an appointment but sometimes I do have to travel to another surgery.

Its hard to get through on the phone for an appointment, but living local I find it easier to go to the surgery. The reception staff are quite helpful. Overall the doctors are good although its rare to see the same doctor twice.

I do not have any problems with this surgery. I can get an appointment when I need one. I've found it easier since the surgery merged with the other practice and I have been seen there too.

The health visitor at Bosworth Medical Centre has been fantastic in supporting my family at a difficult time. We have been referred to the SALT team, and the early years intervention team. They have assisted us in the autism diagnosis process. They have been very informative in providing us with details of interventions and nursery options, and have been supportive and understanding of our wishes.

I am happy with the service received from my GP. Due to a hereditary condition in my family and my own health problems I have been referred to the hospital.

I have a medical condition that impacts my daily life. While the doctors have been good it is very very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor. The booking system is extremely frustrating.

I was very unwell and made a number of visits to the surgery. I was repeatedly told that it was just a viral infection. I ended up on strong antibiotics with borderline pneumonia and was referred for a chest x-ray. I think that if antibiotics had been given sooner I would have made a quicker recovery.
