Bosworth Medical Centre

I moved to this surgery after an awful experience at another local GP practice and have found the service here to be absolutely brilliant. I am always seen and the staff are so helpful. I accidently missed an appointment so came in and asked to talk privately. This was accommodated by the lovely receptionists and I have also managed to be seen by a doctor. Nothing is ever too much trouble here and I find that staff have time to listen.

The nurse was lovely, explained the procedure and timeline for results etc. She really put me at ease and made an intrusive procedure as comfortable as possible for me. She also talked to me about breast checks and explained the best way of doing this which was helpful.

I never experience difficulties getting an appointment. I was seen and checked over but told I have viral infection. Advised to return if the cough does not clear in the next few weeks.

I attended the surgery to discuss ongoing depression treatment and to seek advice relating to the menopause. The doctor took the time to listen to my symptoms and discuss treatment options with me. Complex family medical history was discussed and considered which I found helpful and reassuring. HRT patches were prescribed and fully explained to me. A follow up appointment was discussed to monitor the medication. Overall I was very happy with the outcome.

I had an operation on my foot at Bosworth Medical Centre. I did not know that they could facilitate such procedures. The whole experience was excellent. The operation took around 45 minutes and I spent approximately an hour in recovery. The care I received was outstanding. The staff were amazing, very friendly and personable. I felt very well looked after.

I managed to get an urgent appointment with a paramedic at the surgery. They acted immediately sending me straight to the hospital as they were concerned about my symptoms. I was also given a letter to bypass the A&E department on arrival. The care received was very very good.

I got through after 30 minutes waiting on hold and got an appointment. Made a change as I cant usually get in.

My mum had a bad leg following a fall and a stay in hospital. She required more antibiotics as it was not improving. I could not get an appointment for her even when explaining the situation, they could not even provide a prescription so told me to call 111 instead. Awful service to their elderly patients.

I always found that the service I received was exactly as I needed.

The telephone queue each morning is horrendous. If you dont dial at exactly 8.30am prepare for a 40 minute wait to get through and be prepared to be cut off. Doctors are great if you can get past one particularly rude receptionist that speaks to patients as if they are an inconvenience on her day.
