SHP - The Jacey Practice

I have had no issues with assessing the GP. During the lockdown I had an infection in my bowl and I needed urgent surgery, after a while of waiting I got to see a consultant at the hospital and had an emergency surgery. The doctors have been brilliant all throughout the lockdown.

I have so much negative things to say about Jacey practice and the SHP as a whole. The waiting time is still long and I could be in a queue and still end up with no appointment.

Doctor was great, he referred me to the consultant for an urgent surgery.

I had a blood test, the service was very good, on time and the nurse was very lovely and professional.

Cant get through to speak to anyone.

Just had repeat prescription - no problem. Hasn't been ill luckily.

I had an infection and the doctor at the A&E told me to see my GP for further investigation, its been 8 weeks and am still waiting to see the doctor. I tried several times to call but the queue was always long. I had to come in at 8am and queue to see the receptionist and I finally got the appointment. The doctors are great when you see them but the problem is getting through.

I have had hearing problem since 2021 and my Doctor has made referrals at the hospital. It doesn't seem like anyone knows when and where I have to go. The hospital says they do not know anything and my GP also can't give me any details.

My appointment was cancelled in 2019 and am still waiting for another appointment date
