Marston Green Surgery

The doctors here are very good. Attended the surgery with my husband who we suspected had a bad reaction to an insect bite. We had been treating it at home but attended the doctors when he began experiencing some breathing problems. The doctor acted very quickly and made arrangements for us to attend Heartlands Hospital immediately.

The reception staff at the surgery are absolutely lovely, and so helpful. The doctors are very easy to talk to. I feel that they really listen to me and always want to do their best for me. I go for regular injections with Dr Syed who is brilliant. I have never had a problem with the surgery my repeat prescriptions are always dealt with promptly and sent directly to the pharmacy who deliver them to me.

I have no complaints about the surgery. I can usually get an appointment and I am generally happy with treatment etc. I do think that some of the doctors are more attentive than others so my experiences can vary depending on who I see.

I have attended all my routine appointments with my midwife here and the service has been excellent. The midwife is great, I can call her or text for advice and she gets back to me very quickly.

I find the system for booking appointments very frustrating. I experience difficulties getting through on the telephone. The care received from doctors really does depend on which doctor you see. I have at times felt very rushed during appointments, and I have felt like the doctor was not really listening to me.

I find it quite easy to book appointments, the staff are friendly and helpful. I have never experienced any problems here at all.

I feel that my experience has been hindered by the length of time it has taken for treatment. I have been having regular blood tests for over 12 months which have indicated low B12 levels but I have had to wait all this time for B12 injections to begin. I do not understand why I have had to wait so long.

After experiencing difficulties at a different surgery in the local area I can only describe the service and my experience of Marston Green Surgery as excellent. I never have a problem getting an appointment when needed. The staff are very good. They are friendly and helpful and the care from doctors is excellent. When I request to be seen by a specific doctor they always to their best to accommodate my request.

Since the covid pandemic the service has declined. It's near on impossible get an appointment and they are not any better when trying to get an appointment for my children.

I find it difficult to get an appointment and have been lucky today as its not normally this easy to get in. It is normal to be holding on the telephone for over an hour. You cannot book appointments for later dates and its difficult to phone when the phone lines open due to work. The staff are ok.
