UHB Heartlands Hospital

I have had back nerve issues. I was provided injections for 3 months which helped but these stopped. 4-5 months ago I was told that they would carry out a procedure but I am still waiting to be contacted about this.

I received poor aftercare from the diabetes team here. They seemed too busy to care for me properly.

I have been undergoing treatment at Heartlands Hospital from the oncology department. Including investigation, diagnosis and treatment. The service has been very good and I am happy with the care I have received.

I have been attending maternity appointments here which have gone well so far.

They provide a good service and I'm happy with the antenatal care provided so far.

I was told I could not have my maternity appointments here and had to go to Solihull Hospital instead.

I find it convenient to access care from this hospital especially since I live nearby.

I was referred here from Solihull Hospital and that process was fine. It is very busy here, much more so than Solihull Hospital.

Carers attended my home and told me it had been arranged by Heartlands Hospital. I told them I knew nothing about the visit and it came to light that the hospital had given my details in error as the person who needed the services had the same name as me. This concerned me and I hope that the person in question got the care they needed.

I was moved onto ward 8. Some patients on the ward were very noisy. The nurses did their best to keep everyone happy and cared for. The doctors were good too.
