Rheumatology Dept - Great care and service.
September 1, 2022
I was pregnant, the staff gave me additional appointments which were monthly. My doctor is amazing. She specialises in children, so she gave me so much advise and information around conceiving. Very communicative and keeps in touch.
Had to wait for face to face appointment when I got to the hospital. The waiting time is a area that needs to be addressed.

Pelvic issue not taken seriously during birth
Gynaecology
September 1, 2022
Had a forced delivery with my first pregnancy I ended up suffering problems with my pelvis.
The issue should have been known but I was fearful that the issue was not going to be taken seriously by any health professionals during my 2nd pregnancy.
I had to have forceps delivery and since then I have an incontinence problem. It is 3 years in and I cant do any activities or experiences because no one has examined me. I have received no scans.
When I had a coil fitted by the recommendation of umbrella service and GP in Birmingham.
I have now been referred to gynecologists in Solihull by the Gynecologist from Birmingham GP.
No one checks on your health once the pregnancy has taken place.

No follow up at hospital for cancer.
August 31, 2022
Due to Covid, my annual review was changed from physical appt to telephone review. This was also cancelled due to staff being relocated. I have not had a follow up for it, must be 2 years late. There is always access to breast care nurses though if needed.
Annual Mammogram result for my breast cancer not reported back so I do not know if it was ok or not.

Bring A&E services back to Solihull, why did it have to close? The service was locally accessible for people who has transport issues and who have to be dependent on families. They need to provide services more locally as apposed to making it all central to Birmingham.
