Marston Green Surgery

I have been coming here for 6 years and feel that the service is quite good. If you call right as they open it is usually fairly easy to get an appointment. The staff here are lovely and very helpful whenever I speak to them.

I have been visiting this surgery for assistance managing my diabetes. The service I have received has been very good.

I can always get an appointment when I need one, The GPs, nurses and receptionists are so helpful.

I find it difficult to book doctors appointments because I work. You cannot book appointments in advance or at reception, you have to call. I cannot take time out of work to make the call to try and get an appointment because holding times can be very long. Not all appointments are urgent and mean that I am not at work and able to call as soon as the phone lines open.

My experience of the surgery is very good. I can more or less guarantee an appointment either face to face or via the telephone when I request one. I am sometimes sent to the Manor House Lane surgery which is not a problem for me.

The surgery is good. I find it quite easy to get telephone appointments with the doctor. I have been supported by the nurse with my mental health, she has been excellent.

The doctors are good when you can see them. I find it very difficult to get an appointment.

Trying to get an appointment is frustrating and very stressful for someone like myself who has mental health struggles. It did manage to get an appointment recently but it took me 170 attempts to get through. Yes you did read that right 170 times I called before I got through. Quite often I would give up calling but I was desperate so continued. I do not think they understand or care about the impact caused to their patients when trying to get an appointment.

I find it impossible to get a face to face appointment. Telephone appointments are more available, but still hard to get. You can book advance appointments online but when you try and book there are only one or two available for the next month. Its as though doctors no longer want to see their patients, and is as if they are avoiding touching people to examine them. I was supposed to have a follow up appointment with a doctor but 5 months later I have still not had this appointment.

Marston Green surgery is excellent. The receptionists are very good, I have no problems getting appointments with the nurse practitioners when I need to be seen. They are very good, and provide a great service.
