Still waiting for physio 8 weeks later

I visited Hobs Moat Medical Centre approximately 6 to 8 weeks ago, when I was told they would refer me for physio. To date I have not heard anything about physio and I have been unable to get another doctors appointment or get them to chase it up.
The service is good.

The service is good here so I don't mind the travel. I came in as an emergency appointment. I don't usually go to the GP much.
Long wait for blood test follow up

I recently had a blood test where an anomaly was identified and I was told that I needed a GP appointment. I have been waiting a long time for this to booked in.
3 week wait for medication

I was told during a private GP visit to get a prescription for eye medication through my usual GP so I wouldn't have to pay. I had problems getting this sorted and ended up waiting 3 weeks for them to sort out my prescription.
Shouldn't have to queue up when unwell

The current appointment system does not work. It doesn't make sense that you have to queue up when you are ill, it's ludicrous.
Long wait to see preferred doctor

It can be difficult to get an appointment especially when trying to see a specific doctor. You have to wait a long time to see your preferred doctor.
Keep being told to go elsewhere

My GP is not very good. I am rarely able to see the doctor and am always told to call NHS 111 instead of being given an appointment for my issue.
Less appointments than in the past

I have had less contact than I have during previous pregnancies. One of the routine appointments has been dropped from the care plan. It is always easy to contact the community midwife by phone though.
Excellent GP’s/Nurses/Receptionists

It took a while to get in but the doctors and nurses were brilliant and got me into hospital within an hour or so. The receptionists are lovely too.
Cannot get a appointment

The only way to get an appointment is to go to the surgery at 8am and queue in the cold. People who work have no chance as the phones have long waits and by the time you get through the appointments have gone to the people queuing.
