Green Lane Surgery

No complaints at all. I can always get through on the phone or the doctor calls you back. I have never had a problem I find them very helpful and accommodating.

I think I am very lucky with my doctors. If I ask for a face to face appointment I always manage to get one. The GP's are very good. I'm lucky in that I don't need to go very often but when I do I always receive a good service and have a good experience. I do have regular medication and I telephone the surgery for my repeat prescriptions and have never had a problem with the system in place.

There is no continuity of care. You can't see the same doctor even if requested. No consideration given to patients with dementia. Lack of respect, can be spoken to like your deaf, a child and/or have special needs. Honestly feel like once you hit a certain age no one cares.

You never get to see the same doctor, on some occasions you are given appointments with nurse practitioners. I want some continuity.

The service is terrible, trying to get an appointment is hard. I really struggle to get through on the phone. I had an injection just before the covid lockdown and I was supposed to have them every few months. I have not had one in 4 years but will finally be getting the second one next week.

I have had no problems with the surgery. I manage to get appointments when I need one. I have experienced excellent continuity of care. I see the same doctors and the experience feels very personal. The doctors know me and know about my medical history which I find very reassuring.

On whole my experience of this surgery has been brilliant. Dr Thomas is wonderful.

I have found telephone appointments easy to access. I can always get a call back from a doctor which is great. However, there are a lack of face to face appointments which are necessary at times. It can be difficult to get through on the telephone for appointments and repeat prescriptions. I have today tried to make contact with the surgery for a repeat prescription for my son but had to give up after holding for a long time.

My implant was due to the removed and/or replaced in January. Despite contacting my surgery on a number of occasions I have still not managed to book an appointment to have it removed. Awful service and the staff are not understanding or helpful.

Whenever I try to make an appointment I am sent to a surgery in Chelmsley Wood or told to go to Hurst Lane, and travelling can be difficult. Sometimes I want to see my own GP for personal reasons and this can rarely be accommodated.
