Green Lane Surgery

My experience of Green Lane Surgery has been okay, I have no complaints. I can usually get an appointment when I need one.

Overall their diabetes management service is very good. During my last visit however I saw a physicians assistant and I wasn't happy with him. He spoke to the screen not me and the whole experience was disappointing.

This surgery is okay. I feel that the doctors do not always take on board my concerns and really hear what I am trying to say.

The doctors are good. They use a triage system for booking appointments which I think works well. When I need an appointment I am able to access one.

I cannot get through to book an appointment. Calling at opening time is very difficult when you work and are travelling to work at that time. You cannot take time off to book an appointment because there is no guarantee that you will get through and be offered an appointment. I have experienced a lack of support with my medical condition (pcos) and the impact it has on my day to day life, which has resulted in a decline in my mental health.

The surgery is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful and they always do their best to book you an appointment. The doctors are great, they listen and are very thorough in their examinations and treatment.

The community midwife service at the surgery was a bit hit and miss.

The doctor has been treating my hemorrhoid's and has now referred me for surgery. They have been very good in explaining the procedure to me and why it is necessary.

The surgery has been good, I was quickly referred to the hospital when experiencing hip problems. I can usually get an appointment when I need to see a doctor but phone lines are very busy and it can be quite difficult to get through at times.

I have found it very easy to get an appointment and I make my appointments in person by attending the surgergy. I got an appointment for the same day just a couple of weeks ago and then a next day appointment the following week. The doctor is always very thorough and at my last visit they called 999 on my behalf. A paramedic attended the surgery and assessed me but I was not required to go to hospital. I was very happy with the care the doctor provided, they acted promptly.
