Happy but long wait on arrival

June 25, 2024
I was given an appointment here for a viral infection. While I am happy with the care overall, the queues were very long and I waited an hour to be seen. A lot of people were being sent to Heartlands hospital instead of being seen here.

Wait wasn't too bad and staff were nice

June 10, 2024
Before COVID I visited A&E here. The peak time wait wasn't too bad and I was sent to the X-ray department. I was then prescribed antibiotics and referred back to my GP. The staff were pleasant and I am very happy with the service I was provided.

Couldn't help without GP referral

June 10, 2024
They did a number of checks but told me that they couldn't help without a referral from a doctor. This is an issue because I can't get in to see my GP.

Couldn't treat me after a fall

June 10, 2024
I had a fall recently following an appointment with a consultant at Solihull Hospital. I was taken to the UTC but they were told they wouldn't be able to treat me and called an ambulance to take me to Heartlands Hospital.

Problems getting advice and treatment

The doctors here were hesitant to provide advice or treatment as I do not have a full medical history available to them after moving here from India.
