UHB Solihull Hospital

Had breast cancer. Operation took place at Solihull
the hospital was really brilliant.
No support during the treatment and no family support due to covid as no carers allowed.
I was receiving regular calls where i was able to ask questions and was being advised

Ophthalmology department is very good. Always on time with getting seen. Get regular appointments every 6 months and are very through when you do see them.

The walk in center used to be help a lot when I don't manage to get a GP appointment but now most of the walk in centers in Solihull have closed I personally have to travel to Birmingham just to see a doctor, if I don't get a gp appointment.

Re-open Solihull A&E & Badger. Waiting 2 years for a knee operation.

Solihull needs to have its own A&E and needs to come back. When the A&E was around in Solihull it was brilliant.

Used different services within the hospital.
Cardiology department - The send me appointment for a check up every yea- the consultant was very nice and lovely. They were not able to advise on what my heart condition is but they are try to investigate it.

Physio - Went to the physio for 6 weeks. The service was lovely and really enjoyed it. The people and the staff especially the physio was brilliant and really helped.

Recently had a letter from the cardiologist due to the long waiting time for the operation. The letter received advised that all the heart professionals have had a meeting and they are bringing the appointment forward although has been advised on a wait upto 3 months. GP not able to chase

Dr was very friendly, however waiting time should be decreased as it is far too long for those suffering.

Very disappointed Bruce Burns Mental health ward closed. We need a local Solihull Mental Health ward.
Empathetic that it should be single sex.

Would like to have Solihull Hospital back A&E and more services.

Any time I have attended the staff have been excellent and very efficient.
