My 12 week scan appointment went very well. The staff were all great. The midwife was lovely, and the reception staff were very friendly.

It was my first visit to the maternity department at this hospital. My appointment has gone well and the midwives are lovely. The vending machine was not working which was disappointing.

Small department seemed overstaffed

I attended a routine mammogram. The staff were lovely, the unit was very hi-tech, with clean and bright facilities. The appointment went very well, but coming from an NHS background I made an observation. There were three members of staff in the unit, they welcomed me, checked me in, showed me to a cubicle which was visible from the seating area and then showed me back to the seats. I felt that the number of staff was a waste of resources and that three people were doing a job that one person could have managed.

I was referred to the hospital for an X-ray by my GP. The appointment came through quickly, and went very well. I got the results back quickly too.

Good care from dermatology department

Wonderful end of life care

My partner passed away at the hospital. He had been very unwell. The staff did a wonderful job keeping him comfortable, and they were a great support to us all through the last days of his life.

I recently had an X-ray at Solihull Hospital. The hospital is clean and bright, the volunteers do a great job showing people round and helping them to the right area of the hospital. My appointment went very well. I was seen promptly and the staff were very nice.

I recently had an exploratory procedure carried out at the hospital. During the procedure I had a bad reaction to the dye used. The staff were great, and carefully monitored me before allowing me to leave.
