SHP - Grove Surgery

The doctors are excellent in particular Dr Staverley. They take the time to listen and care for you, they offer an exceptional service. The receptionist, Amanda, is lovely and goes above and beyond to help. I have no complaints at all.

Phoning for an appointment can be a problem. Last time I called I was number 43 in the queue. I gave up and came in person and booked an appointment with no problems at the reception desk. The GP's here are excellent and very helpful. I have been a patient here since 1967, things have changed over the years but I have no complaints.

It is difficult to get an appointment and you are unable to book an appointment for later in the week. I am generally happy with the care and treatment once I have had an appointment.

Overall I have good experiences when visiting the surgery. The problem is that its hard to get an appointment.

Phone lines have improved, I called this morning and I was able to get appointment to come and see the doctor.

The appointment system has improved a lot respect to last year.

My experience of the surgery is very good. I have no difficulty getting an appointment. I am unable to use the phone lines to book appointments due to a hearing impairment. The staff understand this and I am able to attend in person to book appointments. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the doctors are great.

I have had no difficulties accessing a GP despite language barriers. The surgery has been very good.

There are never any GP's available to see you, they try and send you to an alternative surgery which is totally inconvenient because of the distance. Its closer for me to go to the hospital.
