Kingshurst Medical Practice

My experience of this surgery has always been outstanding. I never have a problem getting an appointment. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The doctors and nurses are all very good. Without the help and support of the nurses at the surgery I would not have realised that I was living with a autoimmune disease. They helped and supported me through the diagnosis process which was greatly appreciated. They were fantastic.

It is very hard to get an appointment over the telephone. If you can get in the doctors are ok. Getting an appointment is a massive hurdle.

My experience of this surgery was awful mainly due to the awful reception staff. Dr Henderson and the nurses were lovely when you could see them but trying to get an appointment through the rude and unhelpful receptionists was impossible so I have very recently left the practice.

It can be difficult to get an appointment but when you do they are ok. They do seem to listen and give you what you need.

Can never see a doctor

My experience was so awful at this surgery that I recently left. Not good enough treatment and/or care with managing my medical problems.

I don't bother even trying to get a doctors appointment anymore because its just impossible. The nurses are fantastic though and they even call us to arrange appointments.

Tried to get an appointment for an elderly relative over a number of days without success. Eventually got an appointment but at Bosworth Medical Centre which meant that my elderly relative could not get their themselves and I had to get time off work to take them.

Can never get an appointment neither for myself or my young child. Have been sent to another GP surgery twice now and on another occasion was told to go to A&E.

When you phone up to get appointments they always say there are no appointments for about 2/3 weeks and the receptionist always want to know why you need to see a doctor. They decide if you can see a doctor or not .
