Kingshurst Medical Practice

My experience of Kingshurst Medical Practice in recent months has been awful. I have tried to get an appointment on more than one occasion with no luck. On two occasions I have felt very very unwell and even explaining this to them did not help. They did not take into account my age or my previous medical conditions. I feel like I have to fight for an appointment and that I have been written off because of my age.

I phoned at 8am and was left on hold for 40 minutes to then be told there were no appointments left and to call again tomorrow. This went on for a week. In the end, I clogged up A&E just to get some antibiotics.

It is really hard to get an appointment at Kingshurst Surgery. When I have managed to get an appointment and one of my parents comes with me for support I feel completely ignored and they direct their questions to my parent instead of to me.

It is impossible to get a doctors appointment. You are told to book online using an app, called DR IQ. The app never works, this is an issue that I have tried to raise with the surgery. You cannot get through on the telephone and if you attend the surgery in person they are no help at all. I am unable to really comment on the doctors because I can never see one!

The surgery has been very good since I became unwell. I have been able to get appointments and the doctors have been very good.

It is very hard to get an appointment, and no consideration is given for people who work. The time you need to call for an appointment is inconvenient and mostly impossible around work. When I have been lucky and have been offered an appointment I often cannot make it because they are during working hours.

My mom had a very bad fall on Monday and I took her to our local practice. We as a family have always gone to Kingshurst medical practice but the service they gave my mom on Monday was absolutely fantastic. The doctor, nurse receptionists were all amazing. They went above and beyond for my mom

I am happy with the service received from Kingshurst Medical Centre. It came be difficult at times to get appointments, but they have been very good with my recent health concerns. The doctor listened to my concerns and agreed that a referral was necessary. This was done very quickly.

Kingshurst Medical Practice are absolutely awful! The service they run is terribly and not fit for purpose. You cannot get through on the telephone. If you go into the surgery they are not interested and will not talk to you or offer you an appointment. The receptionists were rude, unfriendly and were not helpful at all. The really sad part is that the doctors were very good when you got to see them. I am now moving practice.

It is hard to get appointments with this service, you are lucky to get five minutes with a GP. I don't trust the doctors here as they have missed conditions that I have had to live with for longer than necessary in the past. It's a complete waste of time coming here.
