GPS Healthcare - Knowle

They are good but getting an appointment can be tricky.

The doctors here are very good. I feel listened to and they are always thorough. I do find it difficult to get appointments though which is frustrating.

The doctors at this surgery are very good. They have made referrals quickly when needed, but it can be difficult to get an appointment at times.

I was assessed for dementia by this service and have been well looked after ever since. I get seen regularly and am given medication for Alzheimer's.

My initial appointment for a cognitive impairment was not followed up at all. I went private due to the long waiting list and found out I wasn't on the NHS wait list at all anyway. I am still waiting for the referral from them to be put through.

My experience of GPS Healthcare Knowle is very good. I have multiple health conditions, and I have never had any problems accessing appointments when I need one. The doctors and nurses are very good and very thorough in their examinations and treatment plans, and when necessary they quickly made referrals to secondary care.

I have no complaints about the care I receive from the doctors and nurses at GPS Healthcare Knowle. It can be tricky getting an appointment, but I think that this is a problem everywhere.

My experience of the surgery has been poor. In general I find it difficult to book appointments. My most recent experience was not great. I contacted the surgery for an appointment. They signposted me to Pharmacy First. I explained that I had already seen a pharmacist and that they said I needed to see my GP. I was then told to go to a community opticians. After a very lengthy process and visiting a number of different services I was prescribed a simple court of antibiotics that my GP at GPS Knowle could have prescribed had I been allowed to access one. A very disappointing service.

I am very happy with GPS Knowle Surgery. I have had no issues and my experience of GPS on the whole has been very good. I have been able to access appointments using the Patches system, which works well. I have also been able to book appointments and manage my elderly parents repeat prescriptions using Patches. It has made things much easier and my experience with Patches has been brilliant.

My experience of GPS Knowle Surgery has been very good. I can usually get an appointment when I need one and its not a problem if I am offered an appointment at another GPS surgery. I am happy with the care and service I have received.
