Appalling that you can't get appointments

November 16, 2022
I think it's appalling that face-to-face appointments are near impossible to get unless you're on deaths door.

Doctors do not want to listen to patients

November 13, 2022
Rang doctors for daughter as she was complaining about belly hurting when eating and constantly on toilet.
The Dr tried telling me it was constipation.
Then I rang again, they then said it was acid reflux.
I then went the 3rd time, and they got me to put daughter on lactose free diet and since then she has been fine.

Care and service is good at GP

October 27, 2022
No problems in general with the surgery.
All the prescriptions are sent over to the pharmacy.
The only thing is I have never had any medication reviews for my epilepsy.
I can pretty much get through straight away when I contact the surgery for an appointment.

Service at the GP are ok but can be improved.

September 15, 2022
The surgery is alright. I am not on any medication.
It is ok when it comes to booking appointments, I have to call. The waiting time could range from between 10 minutes to 1 hour.
The surgery offers both face to face and telephone appointments.
GP are good and they give information.
They send any prescription if required directly to the pharmacy.

More could have been done by the Physio at GP

September 15, 2022
Dr. sent me for a physio with the GP physio. At the appointment I was given a leaflet with exercise on it. The physio didn't go through any physical exercises with me. The physio could have done a lot more and I waited two weeks for the appointment.

Never any appointments especially for kids

September 1, 2022
Never any appointments especially for kids. Ring early in the morning and you are having to wait 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. When you get through they advise you to ring back at 4pm for kids. They should prioritise kids.
When you do get an appointment it is over the phone first. My son suffers from chest problems. It just seems like Doctor's don't care.

Great doctors and nurses.

Waiting time on phone can be long so it's best to call into reception. Then a Dr. will call you on the same day. Reception staff and GP's have been very good. Locums don't go into much detail or refer you.

Unable to get appointments

August 25, 2022
Unable to get appointments when you contact early in the morning.
They don't answer despite being on hold for 30mins to 1 hour. When you do manage to get through you get advised there is no appointment and to call back next day.
I eventually did get to see a locum doctor who was lovely, who later referred me to the dermatology department for a skin issue I had.

Holding on the phone with Arthritis.

August 25, 2022
When I contact the surgery to book an appointment, i am having to wait a long time on the phone. I am on hold from 30mins - 1 hour. The surgery provides a call back service before 12pm however no time is specified. This affects me when I need to plan when I am going out.
The service is not bad but experiences are different each time depending who you speak to.
The surgery needs to fully open up.
Staff are friendly and I find them okay.
Lately the surgery has not been so bad and they do follow up with appointments.
