I have been here a few times for maternity visits and quite like it. I travel here by car which doesn't take me long.
Excellent service at rheumatology department

I was referred to the rheumatology department at Solihull Hospital and received an outstanding service. The appointment came through quite quickly and the appointment went well. I felt listened to and heard and finally after struggling with my symptoms for a number of years I received a diagnosis.

I was referred by my GP and received an appointment with the rheumatology department very quickly. I have been very happy with the care I have received. They put me on the waiting list for surgery and have been helpful in managing my symptoms in the meantime. A very good service.
Argumentative dermatologist who did not help

I attended a dermatology appointment at Solihull Hospital and I was very disappointed with the service I received. The dermatologist was argumentative and unhelpful, and did not treat me.

This was not my first visit and I've always found them to be alright to be honest. I've never had a problem and it's not far for me to travel.

Everything has gone alright throughout my pregnancy so far. I recently visited for my 12 week scan and everything was well explained. It was a bit busy but I think all hospitals are like that.
MRI referral came through very quickly

I was referred to Solihull Hospital for an MRI. My appointment was made very quickly and I was very pleased with the service provided. It was explained that nothing serious was found and that I would be referred for physiotherapy. At my age physiotherapy is not the best option and I do not want it, I have had it in the past and I am unable to do the exercises so it seems like a waste of time.

I was referred by my GP to Solihull Hospital. I received an appointment within a month. I was very happy with the service. The consultant was great and I was put on the waiting list for a knee replacement. I have already received my pre-op assessment date which has come through very quickly.
Fantastic follow on cardiac care

The follow on care I have received here following cardiac care I received after a heart attack in Southampton has been fantastic.

The level of service and care has been good, but there is room for improvement. It is much a much nicer hospital than Heartlands. My problem is with communication from the doctors and consultants. They use lots of big words and I do not know what they mean. It would help if they could explain things simpler at times, and I feel that I would have a better understanding of my diagnosis and treatment.
