Very good cancer care

The hospital is clean and easy to navigate. The parking is good too. My experience of cancer treatment and care has been very good. I am now terminally ill but I cannot fault the hospital or the staff there.

Excellent Cancer Consultant

The cancer service received from the consultant at Solihull Hospital was excellent. My lump was biopsied immediately and I was referred to the QE for an operation all within 10 days. I was very happy with the speed and quality of the investigations, diagnosis and treatment.

Good antenatal clinic

I find it easier to get to the antenatal clinic here and everything happens quicker than at Heartlands. I recently visited for a diabetes check and everything was good.

The treatment I received in gynaecology was good. I am happy with the treatment and care from staff. I was in and out without requiring day surgery.

Good midwife care but not happy with parking

I see my midwife here as my GP does not have a community midwife. I am happy with the care provided but I am not happy with the parking charges.

Outstanding Cancer Services

The cancer services I have received have been outstanding. The staff are wonderful, the general staff, receptionists, nurses, doctors and consultants. They have gone above and beyond during my treatment and care. Everything has been explained to me and any concerns or queries I have have been met with reassurance and clear information. I cannot fault a thing. I can really only thank them for taking such good care of me.

Follow on care has not been great

I was very happy with the care, treatment and support I received during my procedure at Solihull Hospital. My experience of follow on care was not great. I had one follow up appointment via telephone after two months and I have heard nothing since which has now been over four months.
