Can\'t get in person appointments

I have not seen a consultant in person since 2020. I can only ever speak to someone over the phone.

Good back pain treatment appointments

I have had ongoing back problems and have visited this service multiple times for treatment. The staff are very accommodating and help as much as they can. I am given appointments regularly and the injections they give me have been helping.

Not told appointment was cancelled

I turned up for my ophthalmology appointment only to be told that the consultant had gone on emergency leave. I was not told that my appointment had been cancelled until I had travelled all the way there.

Brilliant care but stressful parking

I recently had issues parking here. I don't know what happened but the machine was letting endless cars in even though there were no spaces. I got stuck in there for a long time and eventually managed to park in lode lane but I was quite worried about how long I could park there. The care here is brilliant though so it is worth the stress.

Very long wait for knee replacement surgery

I have been waiting over 12 months for knee replacement surgery. I finally got a pre-op appointment but I was told that this doesn't guarantee that the operation will happen anytime soon. I am living in agony as walking is very painful.

Doctor didn\'t have the right knowledge

I attended an appointment regarding ongoing issues with my hip. I was seen by a doctor who had no knowledge of my case and specialised in hand surgery. In the end he just sent me away as he couldn't help.

Good experience visiting for tests

I recently visited this hospital for some exploratory tests. The service was good, the staff were friendly and the results were sent to my GP quickly.
