Chester Road Surgery

The GP never has any appointments left and there are no walk-in centres around here. My only option is to go to A&E.

I could not get appointment for my mental health breakdown, I was told to get 999 or go to the A&E. I was very disappointed with the response and even after that the GP did not call back to check on my progress.

I have a 11 years old with autism and whenever I need to see the GP for something the receptionist will ask me soo many questions and I have to repeat myself over and over. The receptionist will not give me appointment because to them my needs are not urgent.

Cant get appointments to see the doctor. It takes 3 months to get appointments and there is lack of availability of appointments. since covid the availability to see a doctor face to face is not available. There is no GP call back service.
I have Gastroschisis and when i call for advice they just keep prescribing me medications which they have not reviewed from when I was first prescribed them.

It is absolutely impossible to get through on the phone. The phone system won't even put you on hold. The message says the system is at capacity and this is followed by "the surgery is now closed" - even mid-morning. This is a real shame as Dr Scott is a very good doctor and all the staff are helpful.

Get passed to dr at Bosworth drive. How can they diagnose over phone. The prescription wasn’t sent to chemist in time

Reception staff extremely unhelpful and rude, it is not acceptable to be told call the badger clinic after we close!

They went above & beyond to look after my son when he was ill.. hoping the will look after me when the cancer takes hold..WE WILL FIGHT THIS &wonghtbe beaten xx. Debbie cain

Always had good support from reception staff. I feel that they get stressed by workload sometimes but always try to be polite and friendly to patients. Nurse and HCA are both lovely.
GP support through pandemic has been really good.
Dr takes his time with patients but you feel like he cares. Needs a rocket up his bum sometimes but he is a good soul.
Some diagnoses have been too slow resulting in delays in treatment but generally, a good supportive practise.
No issues with getting appointments and I can always get through when I ring.
