Chester Road Surgery

The receptionists here are very helpful, I can't fault them.

I have now left this surgery because of a very bad experience. I called for an appointment when I did not feel well at all. I was told no appointments that day and that they could offer me one at the end of the week. If I had of waited for that appointment I would have died and thankfully I sought medical attention elsewhere. I lost all trust with that surgery and had to leave.

The diabetic nurse that I see at Chester Road Surgery is very good. She is friendly and helpful. The doctors are also good, I have to put in repeat prescriptions which are always processed in the stated time. The receptionists are friendly and helpful too.

I really struggle to get an appointment with a GP, it is made harder by the fact that I work and I need to see a doctor before or after work. Calling for appointments can also be very difficult as it can be hard to call when the phone lines are open when I am at work.

Chester Road surgery are a lovely caring surgery. It can be difficult at times to get an appointment but the wonderful girls on reception always do their best to help you and get you an appointment with a doctor. I think the surgery has improved greatly since an old doctor retired. I am very happy with the surgery and the service they provide.

I am quite often offered appointments here when I try to get in at Bosworth Medical Centre. I don't mind because I drive. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are all nice and I have not had any problems.

The nurse had to dress my burn. She was really kind and friendly, she was very gentle and made me feel comfortable.

Things are getting better now, but the transition period with Bosworth Medical Centre was not smooth. Generally the service is good and I can get an appointment when I need one. Its not always at Chester Road but its not a problem because we drive.

The service is starting to improve after a tricky transition following the merger with Bosworth Medical Centre. I can normally get an appointment when I need one now.
