Green Lane Surgery

The service is terrible, trying to get an appointment is hard. I really struggle to get through on the phone. I had an injection just before the covid lockdown and I was supposed to have them every few months. I have not had one in 4 years but will finally be getting the second one next week.

I have had no problems with the surgery. I manage to get appointments when I need one. I have experienced excellent continuity of care. I see the same doctors and the experience feels very personal. The doctors know me and know about my medical history which I find very reassuring.

On whole my experience of this surgery has been brilliant. Dr Thomas is wonderful.

I have found telephone appointments easy to access. I can always get a call back from a doctor which is great. However, there are a lack of face to face appointments which are necessary at times. It can be difficult to get through on the telephone for appointments and repeat prescriptions. I have today tried to make contact with the surgery for a repeat prescription for my son but had to give up after holding for a long time.

My implant was due to the removed and/or replaced in January. Despite contacting my surgery on a number of occasions I have still not managed to book an appointment to have it removed. Awful service and the staff are not understanding or helpful.

Whenever I try to make an appointment I am sent to a surgery in Chelmsley Wood or told to go to Hurst Lane, and travelling can be difficult. Sometimes I want to see my own GP for personal reasons and this can rarely be accommodated.

Can usually get an appointment if really needed. Staff are helpful and the doctors are great.

The reception staff are really friendly and helpful. The doctors are kind and considerate too. The only problem can be getting through on the phone line and getting an appointment. I know this seems to be a problem everywhere at the moment though.

I have received outstanding care and support from a GP at Green Lane Surgery whilst going through the menopause. I have been referred to a hospital clinic but due to long waiting times my GP is still treating me.

Reception staff and nurses are fantastic, it can just be very difficult to see a doctor. Have been referred to another practice so that my child can be seen face to face.
