Croft Pharmacy

This pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. When prescriptions are sent through digitally they don't get medications ready. They wait for you to go in for them. The queues are always a nightmare and you end up waiting for ages. I thought the whole point of electronically sent prescriptions was so that they were ready for you to collect. Half the time they never have the right medication in and you then have to go back to your GP for a written prescription for you to take else where.

Prescriptions are never ready, there are long queues, the pharmacy is really busy. This is difficult for me as I am autistic and have social anxiety that makes it hard for me some days to even leave the house. Standing around waiting for medication for up to an hour is not helpful at all. I have gone away and returned before and its still not been ready for me.

Since recent changes to staff I've experienced the worst service. Prescriptions are never ready even when you phone to check up on progress when you arrive they have not been done. The queues are massive and the waiting times are ridiculous. They have recently stopped giving out peptac as prescribed. Been told to tell my GP to prescribe something else or get a paper prescription for that to go somewhere else. I'm considering going somewhere else for all of it they service is that bad. Its a shame because being so close to the doctors surgery is convenient.

I recently waited over an hour for a prescription that my GP sent through two days earlier. It was absolutely packed with people and no where to sit. Everyone was in the same boat and somewhere there when I arrived and still waiting when I left. Why ask for time to have the prescription ready yet nothing is ever ready and waiting. Awful!

I had a telephone appointment with my GP who sent the prescription direct to the pharmacy. I was told it would be ready to collect the next day. Knowing what they are like at that chemist I left it an extra day. When I went to collect it I was in there for over an hour. Nothing is ever ready and waiting in there. I'm 75 years old and waiting around for that length of time is just ridiculous. There must be something wrong with their system.

The receptionist refused to dispense my prescription and then told me to go somewhere else.

This chemist is a hit and miss, always asking for proff and waiting time to be seen is just too long.
