Chester Road Surgery

I have arthritis which means I have to contact my GP a lot about my medication. I also suffer from anxiety. Trying to book an appointment is very difficult for me. Talking over the telephone is a major trigger for me, my anxiety levels increase just thinking about trying to make contact for an appointment, and this often prevents me accessing my GP. The GPs and receptionists are not understanding of how distressing this is for me.

I have been with this surgery for almost 20 years and everything was excellent until some change over. Now I can barely get any appointment. The receptionists are all rude and arrogant. I end up going to A&E for something that can be dealt with by my GP.

Since last year, I can barely get face to face appointment at the GP. I am constantly being told that I cannot to see the doctor but only phone consultation. How is it possible to get the right diagnosis if the doctor won't see me?

The GP never has any appointments left and there are no walk-in centres around here. My only option is to go to A&E.

I could not get appointment for my mental health breakdown, I was told to get 999 or go to the A&E. I was very disappointed with the response and even after that the GP did not call back to check on my progress.

I have a 11 years old with autism and whenever I need to see the GP for something the receptionist will ask me soo many questions and I have to repeat myself over and over. The receptionist will not give me appointment because to them my needs are not urgent.

Cant get appointments to see the doctor. It takes 3 months to get appointments and there is lack of availability of appointments. since covid the availability to see a doctor face to face is not available. There is no GP call back service.
I have Gastroschisis and when i call for advice they just keep prescribing me medications which they have not reviewed from when I was first prescribed them.

It is absolutely impossible to get through on the phone. The phone system won't even put you on hold. The message says the system is at capacity and this is followed by "the surgery is now closed" - even mid-morning. This is a real shame as Dr Scott is a very good doctor and all the staff are helpful.

Get passed to dr at Bosworth drive. How can they diagnose over phone. The prescription wasn’t sent to chemist in time
