Solihull residents tell us about getting their COVID vaccine

February 12, 2021

This week we asked residents to tell us about their experiences of getting their COVID vaccine.

Here’s what some of them said:

Trish: “I had mine today at Monkspath. In and out in 5 minutes then just have to wait 15 mins before you can leave in case of adverse reactions. Incredibly efficient friendly can’t praise the system highly enough”

Susan: “I have had two Pfizer vaccinations, just a sore arm, no worse than a flu vaccination”

Hakeem: “Mine was fine, please everybody get your vaccine when you can”

Patricia: “Husband and I had ours this morning. Bosworth Medical Centre very pleasant staff, super efficient an painless no side effects so far so good”

Antoine: “I had mine with my wife 3 weeks ago, some of my community is concerned but we are both absolutely ok, no problems what so ever so everyone should not be worried”

Eric: “I have absolutely no criticism it was very professionally handled at Balsall Common”

Lesley: “Had mine nearly 3 weeks ago, felt off the following day, nothing hurt just didn’t feel ‘proper’ it was fine next day”

Christine: “Had mine at Bosworth Dr. Very well organised. I’ve had no problems”
