UHB - Heartlands


Admitted as an emergency

After vomiting and terrible pains in my stomach for 2 weeks I was sent to Heartlands to investigate what was going on. The staff treated me with the upmost of respect. Had X-ray and ct scan and it was found I had a blockage in my bowel that needed removing urgently. Was operated on the following day The nurses and Doctors were absolutely wonderful despite the circumstances of the Pandemic. I felt well cared for in a very scary time of my life,
