UHB Heartlands Hospital



Poor waiting times and care

I was brought in to A&E at Heartlands Hospital by ambulance following a bad fall. I waited from 11am to 7pm to be seen. During that time I was only offered one cup of tea. I was tired and hungry and in pain, my experience was awful. After finally having an x-ray I was allowed to go home. However, I was later contacted stating that I should have had a head scan. I was disappointed that this had not been done. My experience was very poor.
