Recent visit with my 88-year old mother
I had to take my mother for an essential injection during the Covid-19 crisis. We pulled up outside the surgery and waited for a receptionist to come out and guide us into the waiting room, applying sanitiser en route. As appointments are staggered to avoid contact the waiting room was empty and we went straight through to see the nurse. We were only there 5 minutes, but in that short time were treated with much care and kindness. My mother was put at her ease and we felt as protected as we could be in the circumstances.
