Difficulty re-scheduling appointment
I received an appointment for Solihull Hospital at 8.30am. It takes me an hour on the bus to get to the hospital and my free bus pass does not work until after 9.30am. Unable to meet the costs of travel and having to set out at 7am in the morning meant that I just could not attend this appointment. It was very difficult to get through to the hospital to cancel and re-schedule the appointment, no one was answering the phone. It was very frustrating. After trying continuously for a number of days I did manage to re-schedule the appointment but the hospital then notified me that the appointment was cancelled. The appointment has not been re-scheduled and this has been going on for a number of months. I am very disappointed with the service I have received.
