Poor experience with eye injections
I had what is called Intravitreal injection better know as eye injections into the eyes. I went on the 16th October for injection into both left and right eyes with a surgeon either [Dr name] or a member of his team. The agonising discomfort I received when the surgeon injected into my left eye was more a stabbing injection instead of a routine gentle approach. This has caused me poor anxiety feelings and extremely nervous about any other next appointments I may have in the near future. I have had over 31 injections into my eyes and this is the worse I have ever had to endure. I have made a complaint to the UHB who own the Solihull Hospital about the surgeons behaviour and lack of communication with the operation on my eyes. I just wanted to acknowledge my experience I have just had and hope this painful episode doesn't happen again to other patients.
