I don't feel listened to

Getting an appointment is very difficult. The phone lines are always busy and I feel very uncomfortable having to disclose my problems to the receptionist. It is also very difficult to see a female GP, which I prefer. I have a mental health condition and suffer from anxiety, which I feel impacts the care I receive from the doctors. I do not feel like they listen to me but instead put all my symptoms down to me having anxiety. I worry that they are going to miss something serious.
