SHP - Monkspath Surgery



Awful service & cancelled appointments

My experience of Monkspath Surgery is that since covid and the merge of all the surgeries within SHP everything has gone pear shaped! It is so difficult to get an appointment. There are always long queues on the telephone line. My most recent experience was awful, I actually managed to book an appointment, I waited two weeks for the appointment only for it to be cancelled by the doctor. When I received the call cancelling the appointment I asked to re-schedule the appointment but was told that it could not be re-scheduled there was nothing available and that I would have to call back the next day to book an appointment. So basically I had to start the whole process of trying to get an appointment due to them cancelling one that I had already waited two weeks for. An awful service and so disappointing, which is such a shame because once you get an appointment the doctors are great.
