Refused to help after I moved out of the area

A doctor here told me that I needed an ultrasound at the hospital. While I was waiting for this I moved out of the area and registered with another GP. When I went back to see what was happening they told me they cannot do anything because I moved to a new GP. My new GP told me they can't do anything without information from my previous practice which I do not have. Nobody seems to want to help me when I just want to find out what is wrong.
