Not actually accepting NHS patients
October 8, 2024
I was told they were accepting new NHS patients so completed the form. When I went in to talk to them they suddenly changed their minds and said they can only take you on if you want go private!
Terrible, disgusted
July 24, 2024
I arrived half an hour early for my appointment at 3 o'clock. The waiting room was full, there no seats spare so had to stand in hallway. 3 o’clock came and went with patients who came in after 3 o’clock getting called in before me.
When I eventually got called I was sat in the dentist chair but the dentist said he was going now and his colleague would see me, and off he went leaving me sitting there for 10 minutes. I’m 75 yrs old and diabetic, the heat got to me and I started to feel faint. I had to get out and get some air so I went into a shop and got a sweet drink as I think my sugar had dropped. I didn’t feel well and was light headed so I couldn’t go back in and caught a bus home quickly.

Long wait for appointments

There is a long wait for appointments. My last appointment was cancelled without reason. I have also been referred to the dental hospital but have been told that there is a wait of at least 6 months.
Increase in charges and now have to pay myself

I find the practice pretty good. Charges have gone up and I now have to pay for the dentist and hygienist. Generally very good with emergency appointments given.
