Hampton Surgery

The surgery have been fantastic in supporting me with seeking a diagnosis for Autism Spectrum Disorder. The referral did take some time due to long waiting lists but the GP continued to support me throughout this period. They have been very understanding and helpful in the process and I have never had any problems getting a face to face appointment with a doctor.

I rang in the week was told there’s lots of appointments for the day I was asking for, but have to ring back on the day at 08.30. I rang back on the day at 08.29 to be told when they answered at 08.30 (they don’t open until 08.30) that all appointments had gone!!!

Practice seems to want to triage by receptionists over phone. Online bookings still not available. Non face-to-face appointments still the primary offering. Overall impression is that practice partners want as few face to face appointments as possible.
