Midwife services are terrible

Let them know you’re pregnant and you’re assigned a midwife, currently 22 weeks pregnant and yet to meet her. First appointment was a disaster, double booked, duty midwife struggled to get bloods. At my first scan Hospital wasn't aware my pregnancy is high risk until they looked further into my history as midwife had put it down as normal despite me airing my concerns and telling her what happened during my first one. Missed 16 week appointment because midwife wouldn’t answer the phone or return messages. Ended up in hospital, still not spoken to midwife. Not really sure what’s next appointment wise as no contact at all from her. Phone the surgery they’re just unhelpful, that’s when you can get through. Never had issues like this with my first pregnancy at a different surgery. Understand and sympathise they’re really busy but I feel I’m missing out on basic care.
