Wrong diagnosis made in telephone appointment
It is difficult to make an appointment and on occasions they have said that someone would call me back and they have not. I had a telephone consultation with a doctor and was diagnosed with 'housemaids knee', and issued with a prescription. After a few weeks the symptoms had not cleared up. I got an appointment with a nurse clinician who queried how a diagnosis had been made on the telephone. I was referred for an x-ray and was eventually diagnosed with arthritis and knee damage.
