Cannot get appointments when required

I have not seen a Dr in 3 years. I had got chest infection. I phoned up the surgery to make an appointment. When I managed to get an appointment, it was with the nurse and not the Dr. I am supposed to have blood tests every 6 months. I have not had a blood test in 2 years. I have only received reviews for my medications. As you cannot get appointments when it is required when you contact them by phone, I now have the surgery app which I tend to use now. Everything has gone back normal since Covid and everyone is now working apart from the GP. Drs I have not seen and when you do need to see them everything is done over the phone. It is almost like the Drs do not want public contact. Nurses that I have seen so far are fine.
