Bosworth Medical Centre

I have made numerous visits to the doctors in the past few months due to ongoing problems with blood pressure and fainting episodes. I have been able to get appointments and easily re-scheduled them when necessary. The doctors have been excellent in supporting me and treating my symptoms.

This is a fantastic surgery. People need to stop moaning about the staff and doctors, and complain about the people who abuse services. The doctors and staff here are brilliant.

I attended the surgery to book a repeat blood test because there had been concern about my last one. I was able to book a blood test for next week with no problem. I'm very happy with that.

I find it hard to get through on the phone lines and experience difficulties getting an appointment despite my medical problems and the fact that I have been battling cancer. I do not feel supported at all.

Very happy with my experience today. The doctor I saw took the time to listen to me which does not always happen. It is usually very hard to get an appointment but today after a 30 minute wait on the phone I did manage to get one.

I have been seeing my midwife 'Josie', at the practice regularly throughout my pregnancy. She is excellent and I have had a great experience with her. She always has time to listen to me and I feel very reassured and well cared for by her. Thanks Josie!

It is very very difficult to get an appointment. I recently called for an appointment for my 2 year old. It was clear to me that she had tonsillitis. I was told that there were no appointments but that I could take her to the Hurst Lane Badger clinic after 3pm. I told them no, explained that my daughter was crying in pain and needed to be seen by a doctor. The receptionist went away and came back offering an appointment in 20 minutes time. I was pleased that they fitted us in but its very stressful when you have to fight for an appointment for a child.

I moved to this surgery after an awful experience at another local GP practice and have found the service here to be absolutely brilliant. I am always seen and the staff are so helpful. I accidently missed an appointment so came in and asked to talk privately. This was accommodated by the lovely receptionists and I have also managed to be seen by a doctor. Nothing is ever too much trouble here and I find that staff have time to listen.

The nurse was lovely, explained the procedure and timeline for results etc. She really put me at ease and made an intrusive procedure as comfortable as possible for me. She also talked to me about breast checks and explained the best way of doing this which was helpful.

I never experience difficulties getting an appointment. I was seen and checked over but told I have viral infection. Advised to return if the cough does not clear in the next few weeks.
