Bosworth Medical Centre

Bosworth Medical Centre is not my GP surgery but I have attended the surgery for my COVID vaccinations. They ran a good service and I was pleasantly surprised to see the nurse from my own practice there, she administered my vaccination.

My son had a blood test on Friday and the following Monday I had a text message from the surgery with the results, and informing me that a prescription had been sent to the pharmacy to be collected. I was very happy with how quickly the blood test results came back, and how the doctor contacted me. It was very straight forwarded and saved me from having to contact the doctors to chase up results.

Overall they are a good surgery. I can normally get an appointment when I need one. Recently the receptionist told me to go to the pharmacy but when I explained my symptoms to her she did book me in with a doctor. The doctors are good and communicate well.

The community midwife here is lovely, she recognised me from a previous pregnancy. It's lovely having a personable service.

I am finding the surgery okay at the moment, although I do experience some difficulties getting an appointment. The diabetes nurse is excellent though and I cannot fault the service she offers.

I have been satisfied with the support received from the doctors in recent months as I have been experiencing severe anxiety. I have seen three different doctors and the last one I saw was marvelous. The doctor signposted me to support services and also referred me to a social services. In general it can be difficult to get a face to face appointment at the surgery. To be in with a good change you have to attend the surgery and queue outside but I do not always feel up to queuing.

The doctors are lovely and I have found them to be very understanding. I have had recent struggles with anxiety and they have really helped me. Some of the receptionists are really nice and they are quite good in helping me get an appointment. I can usually get an appointment when I need one.

My experience of Bosworth Medical Centre has been very good. I can usually get a doctors appointment quite quickly when I need one.

The community midwife at Bosworth Medical Centre has been great. My experience during my pregnancy has been wonderful.

In general I have not struggled to get doctors appointments when I need one. My community midwife based here is amazing, and it is really good seeing the same midwife every time.
